Tree and Stump Removal for Land Clearing Jobs in Manor, TX

We take down trees and grind stumps while the mulcher is already on the tract. If you need a climbing crew tonight, call a tree service.

We are a clearing crew. This page explains where trees and stumps fit into that.

What we will and will not do

We will

Take down trees that sit on a tract or lot we are clearing. Grind or pull stumps inside a pad footprint. Buck and stack usable wood if you want it.

We will not

Climb, rig, or crane a tree over a house. Respond to storm damage the same day. Prune a live oak in oak wilt season for cosmetic reasons.

Stump grinding on the same ticket

People forget about stumps until the mower hits one. On a clearing job the grinder rides along, so stumps get handled while the machine is already there. Inside a pad footprint we pull the root ball instead, because a ground stump still rots and settles under a slab.

Manor searches for stump grinding are real, and this page exists so that work has a home. It is still a clearing service, priced as part of the day.

How this packages with a clearing job

Most tracts have a handful of trees that are too big for the mulcher head: a dead hackberry, an elm leaning over the fence, a mesquite trunk the size of a leg. We fell those with a saw, buck them, and the mulcher takes the tops. The trunks get stacked, mulched, or hauled. Then the stumps get ground or grubbed depending on where they are.

Tree and stump questions

Do you do emergency or same day tree removal in Manor?

No. We are not an emergency arborist and we do not have a bucket truck on call. If a tree is on your roof or a limb is hanging over the driveway tonight, call a tree service. Good Guys and Brents are the names that come up in Manor searches and both have long track records.

What is the difference between stump grinding and stump removal?

Grinding chews the stump down six to twelve inches below grade and leaves the roots. Removal pulls the whole root ball with an excavator. Grinding is enough for a yard; removal is what you want inside a pad footprint.

Will you take down one tree in my backyard?

Usually not. It is a different tool and a different insurance certificate. If the tree sits on a tract we are already clearing, we take it as part of the job.

Do you haul the wood?

On a clearing job, trunks get bucked and either mulched, stacked for you, or hauled with the rest. We tell you which on the quote.

Send photos of the trees and the tract

If it is one tree in a yard, we will tell you to call a tree service. If it is part of a clearing job, we will quote it.

We'll look at the photos and call. If it's a tree only job (one backyard oak), we'll say so.
